NEWS

May 2007.
I just finished the first weekend of shows on the Jazz Attack Tour, with Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliot, and Peter White. That's right we're back at it. It's great show and we'll be touring all summer so check the calander for dates in your area.

In March I perfomed two nights at the Berks Jazz Festival in Reading Pa. One night with Rick,  Richard, and Jonathan, and the next as part of the "Berks All-Star Jam" which also featured Rick Braun, Chuck Loeb, Gerald Veasly, Pat Martino, Joe McBride, Brian Bromberg, Warren Hill, and Richard Elliot to name a few.

While in the area I also did a video taping for the BET JAZZ cable show "Studio Jams". This show is a tribute featuring the music of my late uncle Clifford Brown, as well as the music of Wes Montgomery. ON had lending thier talents were Nick Colionne, Micheal Wolfe, Ray Vega, Gerald Veasley, and Chuck Loeb. The show should air sometime in June or July but I will keep ypu posted.

In between all this running around I've been finishing some new tracks for my next cd which is yet untitled...... Music first, then a title. At least thats how I do it.

February 2007.
Well, 07 is just chugging along isn't it? I had a blast on the Wayman Tisdale Cruise in January. I played with my usual cohorts, Rick Braun, Richard Eliott,  Peter White, Jonathan Butler, as well as Najee, Euge; and my long time friend and mentor from the early days, the one and only George Duke. I think it had been close to ten years since he and I played together. Needless to say we had agreat time, and so did  the  audience.

If you have not seen the video clip on my gallery page then give it a click . There will be more clips, photos and music coming soon.  For all who signed the guest book I'd like to say thank you for the kind words and It's great to here from you.

Check the calendar for dates in your area and I'll see you soon.
